Three disciplines, one fight

What MMA Actually Is

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Ground grappling, submissions, position. The art that makes a smaller person dangerous on their back.

Muay Thai

Striking — fists, elbows, knees, shins. The standup half of the fight, every range covered.

Wrestling

Takedowns, takedown defense, top control. The base that decides where the fight happens.

Real MMA integrates all three so they flow together. A fighter who can only strike loses to a wrestler. A fighter who can only grapple loses to a striker. A complete fighter — with the wrestling base to control where the fight happens — becomes dangerous.

Who this is for

Five Paths Into the Cage

You want to compete in MMA

Amateur or pro path. Either way you'll need real coaching, real partners, and real preparation. We've run this pipeline since 2011.

You've trained one discipline and want to integrate

BJJ blue belt who wants striking. Kickboxer who wants takedown defense. College wrestler who wants submissions. MMA is where you put it together.

You want to be a complete martial artist

Some students train MMA without ever competing. They just want the full skill set. Both paths are supported here.

You want fighter conditioning

MMA conditioning is its own animal — dense, multi-energy-system, sport-specific. Six months in, you're in better shape than 95% of adults you know.

You want to test yourself

MMA training is humbling in ways no other sport is. If you've felt unchallenged in your fitness journey, this is the cure.

The pipeline

How Adults Build Toward MMA

Y1

Build a BJJ base

2–3 BJJ classes per week, plus one Muay Thai. The grappling foundation is what most MMA students lack — fix that first.

Y2

Add full Muay Thai

2 BJJ + 2 Muay Thai per week. Now you have both bases.

Y3+

MMA-specific integration

1 BJJ + 1 Muay Thai + 2 MMA classes per week. The MMA classes are where it all comes together.

Some students compress this. Some take longer. The sequence holds: grappling before striking, then both, then integration.

Got questions?

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to compete? +
No. Many of our MMA students never have a competitive match. They just want the full skill set.
I've never fought. Will I be lost? +
No. We start where you are. Most students walk in with one or zero combat-sports backgrounds. The pipeline is built for that.
How is this different from BJJ + Muay Thai separately? +
MMA classes integrate the three disciplines — clinch to takedown to ground. The transitions are the whole point. You can't get that from training the disciplines in isolation.
Do I need to spar? +
Not for months. We don't put new students in live sparring until they have the foundation to do it safely. Even then, you can opt out — many students never spar and get full benefit.
Will I get hurt? +
Combat sports have inherent risk, but our injury rate is low. We control intensity, gear up properly, and don't run a beat-up culture.
What's the path if I want to compete? +
We've taken fighters from first amateur match through pro and into the UFC. We know the route. If you're serious, we'll have that conversation.
Do I need wrestling experience? +
No. We teach takedowns and takedown defense from scratch. Wrestlers have a head start, but most students start without one.
Can women train MMA here? +
Yes. We pair carefully and our culture is respectful. We have women across BJJ, Muay Thai, and MMA.
