The art of 8 limbs

Why It's the Most Complete Striking Art

Muay Thai is the national combat sport of Thailand. The "8 limbs" are the eight striking weapons it uses: two fists, two elbows, two knees, two shins.

Boxing uses two limbs. Karate uses four. Muay Thai uses all of them โ€” plus the clinch, a close-range grappling-with-strikes phase that doesn't exist in any other striking art. For one striking discipline that covers every range, Muay Thai isn't an answer. It's the answer.

Who this is for

If You See Yourself Here, Come In

You want serious cardio that doesn't bore you

600โ€“1000 calories a class. Every minute is engaging. There's no autopilot zone.

You want a striker's body composition

After 6 months of consistent training, you'll have lean muscle in places you didn't know existed. Most adults drop 10โ€“20 lbs in their first 12 weeks.

You want real standup self-defense

BJJ handles the ground. Muay Thai handles the standup. The clinch and elbows mean it works in close-range situations where most striking arts fail.

You're competitive by nature

Pad work and conditioning rounds let you push the gas pedal. The improvement curve is fast and visible.

You like throwing things hard, with technique

Some people just want to hit pads. That's a fine reason to train Muay Thai. The pad work is the addiction.

What a class looks like

The Adult Class Arc

1

Warm-up ยท 10โ€“15 min

Jump rope, shadowboxing, dynamic stretching.

2

Technique ยท 20โ€“30 min

Drill specific strikes or combinations with a partner.

3

Pad work ยท 15โ€“20 min

Rounds of throwing combinations on pads, with timed rest. This is where the addiction starts.

4

Conditioning + cooldown ยท 5โ€“10 min

Knees, abs, light stretching.

You don't spar in your first 6 months. We don't put new students in live sparring until they have the technical foundation to do it safely. Most adults never spar at all and get the full fitness and skill benefit.

First 90 days

What You'll Learn

Stance and footwork
The foundation everything else builds on.
Jab and cross
Proper hip mechanics โ€” not arm-punching.
Round kicks
Lead and rear, full hip rotation, shin contact.
Teep (front push kick)
Distance control, ring craft.
Clinch entries
How to control close range.
Pad-holding
How to be a useful training partner.

After 90 days, you'll be coordinated. After 6 months, you'll be conditioned. After a year, you'll be a real striker with real fundamentals.

Got questions?

Frequently Asked Questions

I've never thrown a punch. Is this too advanced? +
No. Most students walk in with zero combat sports experience. We teach from the ground up. Your first class will feel awkward and the second will feel less so.
Will I get hurt? +
With proper coaching and gear, no. We control intensity. We don't put new students in sparring. The injury rate at our gym is low.
Will my knuckles get destroyed? +
Not with proper hand wraps and gloves. Always wrap. Always glove up.
Can I do Muay Thai if I'm 45+? +
Yes. We have many adult students over 45. Skip hard sparring, focus on pad work and bag work. The fitness benefit is the same.
Can women train safely with men? +
Yes. We pair carefully. Our culture is respectful. Many women train mixed without issue.
Will I get bulky? +
No. Muay Thai builds lean, functional muscle. You'll get more defined, not bigger.
Do I need to compete? +
No. Most students never compete. The fitness and skill benefits don't require it.
How is this different from kickboxing? +
Muay Thai uses elbows and the clinch; most kickboxing doesn't. It's the more complete striking art.
Can I cross-train BJJ? +
Yes. Most of our serious students do. The trial covers all programs.

Two Weeks Free. No Contract.

Show up. Bring water. We'll handle the rest. Most adults are addicted to pad work by class three.
